This letter is to give my full recommendation to anyone who decides to work with Mr. Eriquez. Building Designs, LLC have been working with Mr. Eriquez for over 16 years and it has been a pleasure right from the beginning.

He is able to foresee and trouble shoot problems before he even begins construction. He communicates well and discusses options with Building Designs and with the homeowner before he makes any decisions on his own. He always has the client’s best interest at heart and is very consciences of adding additional cost or disturbing the living conditions while at work.

He also has a good design eye himself and adds some value to a proposed design that might also work better construction wise. He takes pride in his work and he will never cut corners or compromise in what he thinks is the right way to construct something.

One of the main reasons that we like working with Mr. Eriquez is that you can visibly see his passion for his work and he really does enjoy doing it. He always answers his phone when he can and he loves pleasing his clients.

So Building Designs, LLC would completely refer Mr. Eriquez to any of their clients, knowing that they will be well taken care of.

We originally used Jade Fine Homes for a small basement renovation. We had always wanted to do a broader renovation of our home but were hesitant to take on a larger project. The experience we had with our first project convinced us that Jade was the right company and that Jay Eriquez was the right builder to renovate our home. Any home project can present challenges but Jay’s communication and precision management made the process very manageable. Each sub-contractor that was brought in was excellent and we have continued to use them long after the project was completed.

We were so delighted with our second experience we decided to do another project where we converted our 4 bay garage into a two story large Party Barn. Jay put his personal heart and soul into the project and his attention to detail and craftsmanship was recognized not only by us, but also it has appeared in multiple magazines.

Throughout the project Jay personally communicates the status of the job, he tackles any issues head on, and he, and everyone on the project, always make you feel that your project is his highest priority. Jade Fine Homes, Jay Eriquez, was the general contractor for our 5,000 sq ft, 3 story home renovation on Candlewood Lake in 2013-14. Our 70 year old pine sided lake house was turned it into a modern up to date home.

We demolished a three story wing of the house and rebuilt it from the ground up. Jay was professional, on time with every step, and true to his estimate throughout our entire project.

Jay completely updated our entire house. We removed the old wavy pine siding and changed it to Hardie Plank siding, we insulated the house with foam, added new wiring and plumbing throughout, installed a new HVAC system, remodeled 5 bathrooms and added a powder room, and also replaced the entire roof. In the middle of the project we decided to knock down the front wall of the house and add 5 feet to the kitchen and then remodeled the kitchen from scratch. Jay blinked, but only for a moment – then tackled this newest challenge with gusto. The kitchen renovation required a complicated new front entrance to the house, which Jay designed without the help of an architect.

Jay was a perfectionist throughout our entire project. His subcontractors were perfect, and Jay even did most of the tile work in our bathrooms himself, as there were complicated inlays that he undertook as a challenge.

We could not have been happier with our final product. Jay was a pleasure to work with, ALWAYS answered our phone calls immediately, and he kept every promise he made with no issues.

Anyone looking to build a new home, or do a renovation of any sort would be hard pressed to find a better contractor than Jay.

On a scale of 1 to 10, we give Jade Fine Homes a 12.
